Lifetime Achievement
The Jim Carr Award is presented every year at the annual Christmas Party in December. The award represents a lifetime of achievement and service to the Roofing Industry, and recognizes those who stand head and shoulders above their peers.
Named for E. James Carr, it stands for the values he brought to the roofing trade, honesty, integrity, and service to the community.
The awards committee shall consist of past recipients and the Board of Directors. Nominations shall be submitted prior to the general meeting in October. Nominees can be chosen from the Roofing Industry (contractors or employees), or any related field, such as manufacturing, service, supply, design, and government. They can be retired or active, and the award can be presented posthumously.
